This is outstanding Pat. I did not know a 200mm zoom lens could take such a perfect close up of a flower. You sure proved me wrong. Congrats on the high c-index and first place in the new images catagory.

Whoa baby...look at that thistle. Never saw one look that purdy before :) And that c-index....right through the roof! Hope it holds for you Pat. This image deserves every bit of it. The detail is breathtaking here as well as the color and the clarity and of course, the highest of quality! Thank you so much for sharing this with me....
I have never seen a thug look quite this good before either ...lol

Would there be room for another comment? Let's hear it for the purple and green...I love thistles...I would like you to take a picture of this little gem in late fall...whenever it turns brown...the plant is in perfect condition...it is a "beastly beauty! Clear and crisp image...beautiful background that enhances and does not distract, and this guy needs a friend...pick me! Bill.
