I like the way the leaves on the trees and on the ground make a frame around the pedestrians. The rich fall color is marvelous. Contemplation in this environment would be easy.

The shadows makes this a kinda 3D transformation!..leaving the walkway like a 'dished' depression!...

The reason why the sunsets in the evening is because it wants to see the sunrise in the morning. I rise in the morning because I want to see them both. RvdB

The most precious jewel you'll ever have around your neck are the arms of your children♥
It may have been taken in the fall, but it looks like, based on the coats, to be rather chilly. I think the picture works especially well with the two figures. I cannot see the same level of composition and interest without them. Pat, best wishes in the contest. Happy New Year! ~~ John
