Every time I view this image which is a sculpture, an imaginary story comes to mind. It is as follows: These cowboys passed on to their eternal reward back in the 1800�s. They have been happily riding through heaven�s perfect western ranges ever since. Suddenly, they are returned to earth to view their earthly home once again�and even stay if they want. Will they? No! Oh my no! As good as life was on earth, it cannot compare with heaven. They will turn back and gallop off into the glowing light behind them, happy to be roping, riding and branding forevermore�on heaven�s ranges. (My entry for the contest)

And not to forget the music in the background as the horses finally "take off" with the cowboys ! Nice silhouettes against the glow.

Smooth seas do not make skilful sailors.
There's a couple of these here in North Dakota, one just outside my hometown, but they don't compare in quality and character to this one. Good interpretation and image treatment, Pat.
