Hello everyone. Today I donated and became a Caedes cadre member, because I think this site is just too good to ever let go.I enjoy to post and to see all the wonderful works that all of you have made. Because of this and the many questions I get concerning the black backgrounds in many pictures I have posted, I will try to explain how I do this with my cheapy Sony camera. Step 1: shoot when the light conditions are best, just after/before sunrise/sunset. 2: have the sun in front of you (sounds a bit stupid but you need it for the reflection in the flower to create a high contrast 3: select under exposure up to a full stop (-1.7 EV in this extreme case). 4: Select macro 5: select high contrast and saturation. 6:shoot! I hope you will benefit from these comments. You may get pictures like this one: and yes, clean out of the camera.
