Mr. Blue is a great Blue Heron, which in Holland, is becoming more common than an ordinary crow. There is a breeding colony close to my house. Do you know they breed in the highest available trees? They are extremely difficult to approach, unless you are a fisherman. But I nailed this succer, just before he run off, YESS!

Very nice! I like the perfect focused shot on the Heron and the backgrounds are usually blurred for these types of shots but not here! I'm happy about that, nice work!

I wonder how you made the birdie sit quietly for just a second. Perhaps you showed it a picture of a snake ... LOL
Great image of amazing clarity. 10/10 all the time.

Congratulations. A fisherman, so this is the reason you have such great closeup
of this birds. The bird is remarkable. I feel I could caress him on his head.

You certainly nailed this one, the detail is simply amazing. You sure you didn’t lure him into a pool of super glue, so he would stay put while you got your photo? :-)

Very good portrait shot! Is that your 200mm lens again? Very nice backdrop, there must be water nearby, perhaps a stream?

Ummm, fifty foot shutter release? Cammo body paint? It's stuffed isn't it? However you did this it's a perfect head shot, crystal clear.

Nice close-up of an extraordinary bird. This photo has some very nice textures you don't see a lot. Great job.
