Another view of the VOC Prins Willem ship. I hope this will not offend anyone as this is just a piece of history (the ship was built in 1651). Let me know what you think, is this acceptable?

You know, Paul, that I feel deeply offended ... LOL rofl
Surely as a piece of history this is acceptable !!!
Seriously lovely colours again.
I do envy you the opportunity to visit such a beautiful tall ship ... getting green as a green pea ....

i was offended. maybe if the picture was more of the ship- I would consider it art, or historical.

I don't think it is offensive, mabye just that the lady looks sort of like a man, nice shot of the ship.

This is a decent picture, but I have a feeling I would get in trouble if I used it on my desktop at work.

Good wallpaper image. If I had submitted it it would have been banned. Glad to see some mods aren't so strick. Very nice composition and color.

No image should ever be given a zero. You are insulting the efforts of people trying to learn. Mr. Russ

Well, it certainly is an 'in your face' type of picture, but as has been mentioned, IS on the head of a tall ship. I think you've caught the angle well.......:)

From looking at the details the whole ship is covered with elaborate carvings, I glimpse more above the door and at the rear mast. I thought this was the figurehead but it seems to be one of many along the side. She must have been a grand sight slipping into harbor fully manned and under sail.

I give you a lot of credit, you can make a play on words in a 2nd language! An excellent photo, a questionable desktop (for me, anyway.)

It was nice of the sailors to take the twins out for a boat ride. I see the weather was cold that day.
I must google and get some knowlege as to the reason for this type of art.

Nice picture, there's nothing offensive about the female anatomy, its wood, its history, its decrative art, appreciate it for the craftsmanship if nothing else. The ship looks really interesting, got any more pictures??
