I know almost all about modern ships, but it is so seldom that one can view the interior of old vessels [except on movies but that does not count ..]. Great rich colours and unique composition. Thank you and congratulations.

An all round excellent photo Paul. There is plenty to hold the interest here and the colours are wonderful. Did you supply your own treasure chest?

There are three colours, Ten digits and seven notes, its what we do with them that’s important. Ruth Ross

there's a lot to be hold, here, by gun. Fascinating time trip behind the eye of the camera. Thanks!

without a sense of humor, I'd have no sense at all.

Thank you all, and no I did not supply my own treasure chest, and I did not alter anything. It was all just there, begging to get photographed.
Funny thing how it always goes: the attraction (in this case the ship) is opened at fixed times for the public. Groups of people rush in, get in the way of each other and rush out to get there drinks and meals. I fall back and just way until everyone is out of the way and I can go ahead. Actually I have my family with me and I point out the things of interest and we discuss them. My son of 5 is always very interested when I tell him about the things to be discovered. I often get the impression that people don't really see what's there (when it doesn't move). There was not a single person who took notice of this chest and the beautiful light availbale. All they want is to get on deck and spoil their photo's by putting their family in the picture!

If you can't find the words, you may as well shoot it...

it looks like the set of a pirate movie or Horatio Hornblower film! I really like it. The treasure chest is a unique focal point. I wonder why it was there?
