I stumbled on this structure on the beach, and while I was standing there with some other people we started to discus the object, as if we were standing in a museum looking at a piece of art. So, is this art, or just junk? What do you think?

Hmm...I'm thinking art...all that stuff looks pretty securely tied on...it would be quite a feat for those objects to have tied themselves to that tree that far from the water...maybe there are junk elves involved? :)

It must be the mom in me that saves everything my children ever attempt artistic that appreciates this so much. It's fun, artistic, colorful, and quite obvious to me that even thought towards a balanced composition went into it.

I'm wondering if thy didn't collect the beaches trash then 'create' something with it. It's definitely better than leaving it as litter and maybe there's a message to this art.

Its weird, but real, maybe it is a message of the junk que find sometimes on beaches, but anyway, I think this cool be a piece of art, its really original, never seen. Good shot!!

Yay! These sort of serendipitous findings are so cool! Here they have been crafted into a document of times past, cultural flotsam and jetsam awaiting discovery. I bet the artists were hiding just out of sight - ecstatic at your evolving responses!

I had not seen this before..but wow...I like it. Art? yes indeed, I would call it that. It's also a good way to get rid
of the trash on the beach, the stuff people throw away, and the stuff that will hurt the seagulls and fish. It's sad that people do this. I do like this shot tho, Paul. I would have taken the photo also. Thanx so much for a creative photo..Verena
