This is the village of Oterleek (Holland) in the mist. This is about 1 mile from where I live.

Oh Paul! this is just magnificient!! This is one of your BEST ever photos! The colour is just perfect...and the way the silhouettes are brought out...that windmill...yes, romantic is definitely the word...There is such a sense of peacefulness and mystery in this photo...its inspirational all the way around. awesome shot, very touching, the sepia tones give more power of expression. it remain me the film Schindler'List...i dont know why, but I guess one of its scene, there is a place like this one yours....great shot!!!

I can't add anything that hasn't already been said. I love this picture. It's one of my favouites. It's so simple and yet so beautiful. I love the sepia colour, I love the fog, I love the close clarity and the background fog drape over the houses and the windmill. I love the silhouetted trees. And I especially love that windmill.

Bring me more.. please...

This is gorgeous, Paul. The sepia tone of the shot and the detail in the foreground are wonderful. Of course, the fog doesn't hurt one bit either. Really, really nice -
