This must be the area that has the fungi! Paul!.....this is nice, the deadfalls with a covering of snow, it looks very bleak, I can see there is still a bit of colour in those trees...very picturesque! High points again, I'm afraid!
Oh! What a perfect setting. I mean that tree breaking as it did, its almost like you having 'setup' a still life....it's wonderfully crisp...and that bit of sprinkled snow is just lovely. The way that one piece of tree broke off almost looks like a "snow critter" sittin' there looking over what happened...A beautiful photo Paul..thank you so very much....big hugs to you..verena
There is somehting special about forests in the winter.. It's easier to see how nature does her trimming.. This could be the forest just outside of my town or out by my sister's house.. I think this is how the world should look..
I love the subtle browns and greens....the touch of snow makes it a superb image full of interest....crisp with nice composition....straight into my favourites!
very impresive capture, I love how those trees are, it has a kind of mysterious way to show how the cycle of life is, the standing trees still alive, while those on the ground sufering the procession to pass away....
I love your work, Mr. Gerritsen; especially, the French chateaux interiors. This is a PERFECT composition, flawlessly executed, and rates a vote of 10 from me.
