Wow Paul, incredible and majestic are two wonderful adjectives to describe not only this bird of prey, but your capture of him with your camera! The detail is exquisite. The feathers on his head are so sharp that I can see the separation of the feathers. On his beak, I can see where it is scratched, probably from catching his dinner! The yellow that outlines his eye is enhanced greatly by the yellow of the beak. You have great color, high quality, amazing detail and of course perfect composition for me! You are correct in that it is now my turn to admire him for he is going to be sitting on my desktop. I am also putting this into my favorites folder on my harddrive as well as my caedes.net screensaver slideshow folder. Thank you for posting this magical shot! :~)
WoWeeee !! Brilliant Image Paul!...It has that look in his eye saying..."come on, just a little bit closer"!.....Very sharp detail, with the background niceley out of focus...I really like this one from you Paul..it's such a 'crackin' shot....has to 10 out of 10 again I'm afraid!....Bob

How the hell did you get the eagles head so crisp and clear. That's a masterpiece. I guess there hasn't been such a great closeup in Caedes for ages now.... Right to my favourites.
Hi Paul, my oh my, only you can return this historically, remarkably beautiful bird back to us with photographic perfection!!! It is indeed a photo to behold! I have always been so impressed by the look in the eyes of these incredible birds, that look that commands that awesome respect they so deserve!! It doesn't get much better than this! High marks from me, and of course, into my favs! I will take good care of his honorable magesty! Sincerely, Marilyn

Well, you said it all yourself, "incredible and majestic". How did I miss this one? It's been around since 06 but just now discovered it. Better late than never.
