This beauty must be a Hibiscus.I like the deep velvet leaves and the beautiful colour. I have seen this colour in Southern Europe, and also a very attractive golden yellow. In our garden, we have them in a smaller variety but only in lilac, pink and deep purple.

I do!.... It's a bliddy big red one!....am I right..this is really good Paul, the sharpness goe's way down to the stamen...and the colour, wow! you could'nt get anything else as red as this!...you are just after a bit of competition for Maryln....aren't you!.

I love the natural setting for this flower, with the blue sky behind, and greenery around it. Very nice picture.
