A strange place to see ants unless they're after the nectar. I'll have to look more closely at my flowers now to see if I see any. Thanks for posting.

Definately have to see full view to see it.. great shot as always, and lovely colours... you have captured the ants very well, they must be after the sweet nectar or some water.. nice work

Stunning...happy ants on a glorious flower. The colors and shine of the pedals and greenery is wonderful. Great capture. Good job!

Where there are ants, there are aphids. The ants collect the honeydew from the aphids as they chowdown on your plants. Neat capture Paul...did you follow them?

Amazing shot Paul! Can't believe you could capture those little guys like that! My favorite flower. I have them all over my yard in the summer! Vicky

Really cool capture of the parade of the ants Paul. I like how they are in a neat row! The flower is pretty impressive also, not only in size, but in color. I also like the bud that is in the image. All the way around, neat composition and subject matter! Thanks for posting :~)

How the heck do find these Paul!...you must have eyes the size of dinner plates to see these shots....But, there again, if you can just point a camera over a wall without knowing whats on the other side....well I can understand this one!
Brilliantly done mate...Loverly colour, with the added interest...Bob
(PS..just out of curiosity, when you put that camera over that wall, there might have been a 'couple' in an amorous embrace!!!!...What then!)

Hmm very nice. This is a very common flower here in Sri Lanka. You have done a nice job capturing it with the bud aside. Good work.

You have a recognisable ability to capture brilliant photos Paul. You certaintly have left no room for disappointment with this photo. The flower on its own is excellent - the texture of the petals is succinctly expert. But to have also caught a raid-party of nectar thieves red-handed as well, is beyond expert. Very well done.
