Wow, to have a real live wreck near your home! I would go scuba-diving to search for hidden pirate treasure.. Anyway, great job with the brilliant sunset, clouds and waves!

Art is the perception of the creator. Meaning is the perception of the viewer. acceptance is the perception of society.

Oh my Paul, what a dynamic, dramatic capture! The sun setting and casting the shipwreck into silhouette is excellent for one of those 'mysterious' artistic images that I always envy :))
The dark clouds rolling in the sky and the waves crashing are quite cool too. Good job on this my friend. Downloaded right into my favorites folder on my hard drive and onto my desktop so I can further study it's beauty! Thank you for posting it :~)

Oh wow. love the way the waves caught the sun sparkle in the foreground. As a matter of fact the foreground is fantastic in it's crisp detail. Now thoses are waves. the light playing off the background water is a delight as well. And then, there is the sunset itself, caught in a splendid aray of color. Grrrrrrrrrreat work, Paul, as usual.

THis is beautiful, but what I like most of all is the way the sunlight is caught on the tips of the waves. Like pretty gems ....sunsets are such magical things, they can make anything at all look gorgeous...due to the glow they give us all...Isn't it something the way the water reflects the water? Such perfect colours...lovely photo Paul, very lovely...verena

good contrast in this image. I like how you were able to catch the sun reflecting off the waves a bit too...that adds a lot to the picture.

If you're going to do a sunset, have a marvelous sillhouette for intrest. It's hard to beat a decaying, sunken ship. Great timing on the wave shot and the sky is wonderful as full and active as the sea below it.
