well, as much as i like the tulips, i love these hyacinths. their color is magnificent. i guess thats what attracts me most. the beautiful flowers combine with a beautiful sky to make a very beautiful photograph. jen
How couldn't I respond to such an abundance of violet. I wish we could also smell some of these magnificent scents hanging above the neverending fields. Great capture my friend.
This is stunning! The pinks and purples are beautiful together and there are just rows and rows of flowers! The sky is wonderful with the clouds rolling in also. Gorgeous shot!
Oh my Paul, my nostrils are twitching.....they are trying so desperately to smell these awesomely beautiful hyacinths~ The colors are so rich and there are rows upon rows upon rows of them. This has to be the reason that you live in Holland....what a pay-off, not only for the scent, but for the beauty and the photographer's dream! Well done my friend, thank you for sharing once again :~)
My favorites of spring! I have a large patch planted by both doors...maybe not this large. But imagine living in one of those homes on the edges of these fields and opening your windows on a spring afternoon. I like both of these shots you posted today, I like them for the angle of the lines instead of straight across. I like seeing between the rows and it gives you a long view to the distance. More intense blue than the sky. Like Vicky above, I get views of corn and soybeans.
I can only imagine the perfume that fills the air from these flowers. I like this photo better than the red tulip ones. This is gorgeous. The persepctive is stricking. The dark clouds only accenuate the beauty of the purple blooms. Great capture and by far the best of these type postings by far.

Very nice Picture.
Hyacints are beautiful flowers, they smell very nice, again a beautiful photograph.
If I see this I find it what a pity that I no longer live in noord-Holland.
Beautiful colours! The composition is nice, and the colours of the flowers really make this picture special. too bad the windmill isn't in a better place, nothing you can really do about that..
Oh Paul, this is one of my most favorite of your photos. The depth, the colours, the sky, its all so wonderful. The windmills are there too , it is truly a photo of Holland! We have Hyacinths here in ORegon, and I just await their scent every Spring, I can well imagine the most lovely scents with that many in HOlland....sooooo sweet they are!!.......Verena
