Here is the inside of the chalk mill I showed in the image called Zaanse schans. As you can see the mill is in full motion. When you stand there you will be surprised how big all the beams are and how smooth and silent the mill operates. No noise of whining engines, just the wind...

If you love something, set it free. It it comes back to you, it is yours. If it does not, it was never meant to be. Wil

After all the modifications, that we all live with...this invention of the 'wheel' will never die!...those gogs in this mill, would probably be older that you and I put together!...and still, they work!
Very well done my friend...........

This is really neat! It has a kind of rustic feel to it, and makes a cool desk-top background, because it makes it look almost like you're looking into the workings of the computer, (Even though the workings of the computer don't really look like that). I'm downloading this one, and putting it in my favourites.

Take a look at my gallery, and tell me what you think, leaving any comments or ideas or advice you might have to offer! This is a cool picture! God bless! : - ]

I don't know that I will use this for a desktop, but I like it none the less for one reason-it is good photgraphy. Everything is sharp and clear and yet you can see action and movememnt without any detriment to the composition. That is really cool. I found myself spending more than a passing moment studying this setup. I'm not I understand what they make in this mill but I'll try to look up the other composition you referenced. Fantastic shot. It's a ten in my book.
