The mill on this photo is called "The Cat", a paint windmill grinding raw materials such as chalk to make pigments for paints in the traditional way. At the waterfront you see the shed where raw materials (chalk in this case) can be dried in the wind. I will post two views of this mills.

A very interesting photo. The educational background makes us understand the picture. Thanks for the lesson.

If you love something, set it free. It it comes back to you, it is yours. If it does not, it was never meant to be. Wil

Good lord, how clear can a picture get? That's clear. Wait a minute...is that chickens in yonder coop? I thought you said this was a "paint windmill" Does it process chickens also? Just kidding (I think). No wait...those are not chickens. Hummm, I should be looking at other things in this pretty composition. I like the boat, especially the blue tarp inside of it. It's just a little peice of plastic but it is captured so accurately in color and lighting as is the entire compostion. Great work.

I like all the colours...but I like the "implements"..such as the bike, the wheelbarrow, the ladder etc...It's a different sort of picture for you my friend, but an interesting scene..Nicely done...and yes, very very clear. Hugs to ya...verena

It's not the years in our life that matter, but the life in our years.

Wow Paul...I love all the details that you captured in this shot.....I see the 'tools of the trade' so to speak and the boat. I presume that is used by the workers to maybe get home? Another top-notch capture from the camera lens to our eyeballs! Well done once again my friend :~)

A little something? I just don't tolerate with such modesty! You either shoot out of passion or you don't shoot at all! Photography is about seeing things others can't see. --- I guess every girl goes through a photography phase. You know, horses... taking pictures of your feet. -[from Young Love and then Lost in Translation]
