This photo is tops. I think I judge a photo by the imagery and emotion it evokes and these birds are beautiful and that you caught them in that pose together facing each other with the background fading out is great. I'd be interested in knowing what kind of birds they are.
Oh these two birds are just lovely!! Look like quite a pair!! I love the photo Paul..you are an expert at birdies it seems. And windmills...bigtime hugs to you today...V
hi paul. this bird photo is pretty incredible. what are they? i love the colors of their feathers. it seems like you can see every one. their eye color looks just like mine from sitting at the computer so long. wonderful work! jen
What a title and what a photo and how well they both go together. And, what headgear. My word, that's fancy. You captured it in perfect fashion. And who could not notice those red eyes. Nice how you caught them both looking this way so we can see those eyes. Also, exceptionally fine detail on the feathers. Marvelous capture.

Anything that excites me for any reason, I will photograph; not searching for unusual subject matter, but making the commonplace unusual.

I'm guessing some kind of pidgeon? I think you would find that they are both males, the female is probably plainer. Beautiful specimens in any case and well captured.
