wow this is beautiful. the lighting is great, it really does look like the light is coming from within the tulip. and the bright yellow contrasts perfectly with the dark bacakground. just perfect! ~abby
Very beautiful symmetry in this photo. The background being so dark brings that tulip right to the foreground. It's like a cup filled with a drink of sunlight.
** For the next few weeks, I will not be Commenting as much as I should, I Will be looking at ALL of your Picture posts...I apologise from the bottom of my heart for this...Things should be back to 'normal' after the holiday period**
Simply fabulous. There is enough colour in the background to add interest without competing with the bloom for attention. I’ll take a dozen of those blooms please :-)
Hi Paul, boy do I agree with you, so beautiful and I think could be the female version of a "Praetorian Guard"! She has the demeanor and stauture of a lovely woman in charge and also is lighting up your garden as well, with her vivid color of yellow! This tulip ranks among the top beauties of your garden I bet! It is truly beautiful, so perfect in every way, and then the photographer must take a bow as well, because, after all, you brought her to us for our pleasure! Very pretty, very lemon yellow, and so perfect! You have heard of the perfect rose, well you have grown the perfect tulip Paul! Simply gorgeous! Sincerely, Marilyn
Anything that excites me for any reason, I will photograph; not searching for unusual subject matter, but making the commonplace unusual.

Looking good as you no doubt know by now. (As most of your photos, as you no doubt know too. ^_^) That name, "Garden Lamp" gave me the idea that you could rotate it 180° for an illusion of a ceiling lamp. (I tried and it looks rather nice. (Maybe the spider thread could be edited out for a better illusion...)) I'm not sure you would get as great c-index on this image if it was posted like that though... ^_^ (I'm quite sure really since it looks more or less stunning like this and a bit odd like I tried it. I was just triggered by the name you came up with.)
No Sig, Just, I want to say "Thank You" to all of the talented photographers for giving me the most beautiful desktops and screensavers I could ever imagine. The artistry here is breathtaking.
