Known as "Chateaux de Femmes" or "the castle of six ladies" for the succession of powerful French noblewomen of Chenonceau, who each made an impact on the castle, forming it into the lovely castle we see today. This enchanting castle may be smaller in comparison to others, but what it lacks in size it makes up in charm.

Nice reflexion here. I like it when photos have some life in them. The boaters make it seem more real and life like instead of posed. I feel like I am there. Jodie

How lovely it is when unexpected blessings come into my life to cheer me up and put a smile into my heart. Help me to pass them on, dear Lord. Fay Angus

Of course your photo is excellent in the technical areas - that's a given. I really like the aging effect you added; it takes it back to another time very nicely. It certainly is charming, Paul!

Beautiful picture. It is very nice in B&W. I suppose it would be just as lovely in color.

Awesome Paul. This view certainly takes one back in time to when things were less hectic and life was a little more calm. I like your presentation very much and the reflections are amazing. Excellent post and thanks for sharing it.

This is just wonderful! The sepia tones are the perfect choice for this nostalgic scene. It does look just like something out of a fairytale. I love this one!

A most beautiful castle - I never get tired of seeing them. The architecture is exquisite. The towers and steeples are striking. Lovely curve designs for where the boats go through. Lighting is perfect with the reflections on the water. Good seeing the folks out in their boats..this must be a popular site. The sepia tone works well, with this aging castle. I'm sure this will be rated high. Thanks Paul, for this enchanting castle view :))

The reflections on the water offer a vague Escher-like confusion. And your choice of sepia suggests Europe between the wars...Very beautiful.
