Always remember - Follow the Yellow Brick Road, it will lead you to the Emerald City and OZ A very nice place to repose. Trust me on this one, I live there ............The Lion...................... MY GALLERY - The Magical Mystery Tour
now, paul, how much "almost" is there? it does look gorgeous. isn't that area so much fun at night. did you ever go to the catacombs in paris. the church makes me think of them.
Now that is a spectacular image. It was going to be a beauty even before you did whatever it is you did to the sky. You have given it an unearthly look and feel that is truly memorable.
Ohhh ... ok, got it. By almost ... you mean ... 'almost'. ;o)
This is a stunning shot.
If it weren't for the small amount of knowledge I have of the movement of celestial bodies and exposure times ... I would not have to don my detective's outfit whatsoever.
And you never ... ever ... fail to disappoint this viewer, even when faced with some of the more challenging conditions regarding lighting.
I would wholeheartedly agree that the addition of your almost night sky ;o) ... elevates this one by further stimulating our visual senses, as well as our minds.
Great work. And but of course ... thank you for sharing your efforts and talents behind the lens. I almost ... almost forgot to add this image of yours to my favourites ... almost. ;o)
(p.s. And this is no slight against you ... but, this image is evidentary of the need for an additional floodlight on the premises, so that the left-hand side of the building would be entirely visible. Tell the groundskeepers the 'Canadian Sherlock Holmes' sent you. :oP)
Wow what an amazing shot. I'm intrigued by the 'almost' too - I don't quite buy that light pollution in Paris is that low....This really works though, however you got it. I always found the sacre coeur a creepy building and it's certainly that in this picture.
