View from a hill in Geestmerambacht, North Holland. In the background you can see the hills, which form the last line of defense against the sea. Directly behind those hills are the dunes and the the sea. In the front is a bird sanctuari and in between are the green pastures dotted with cattle, you make out the grazing cows and horses. To the right (not visible) are the woods where highlanders roam and behind me is a big lake. It's my favourite spot near my home in North Holland.

This is very interesting for me, since I always wonder, how you people can stand this fight against the sea. Would be terrible if the sea would get this part, since it is lovely. Golden and green is a great name for this!

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being. - Hermes
