Believe it or not, but these animals were actually being hunted. A professional hunter was taking that deer down with a sedative gun. I guess Christmas is not a time we all look forward to...
Was this in Holland? They don't hunt here right? Then were was this exactly taken? It's a very spectacular shot, even though I feel bad about this too.
This was "shot" in a public park in North Holland. Every year the herd of deer becomes too big and the male newcomers will be shot. And it's always near Christmas when this happens.

The insensitivity of man escapes me.How could one do this-especially at Christmas time.I suppose the "men" feel good about themselves-despite their apparent lack of skills. A beautiful image with the motion and glow effect...apt title as we know what the light means.......merci.Alain
You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being.

It's always sad when we are reminded that it is sometimes necessary (and I hope this is the case) to kill wild animals. Your camera panning accentuates the explosive departure of these animals from their enclosure. Very well done, Paul..........Neil
