Oh Paul, I don't know how you do it, but this is just a most precious and beautiful photo, which of course, isn't unusual for you. You talent amazes me, and I know a lot of it is that wonderful camera you have. I hate being jealous..hehe..you took a beautiful photo of this little family. I dont think we have those birds over here in Oregon, but we DO have a LOT of birds. There are many many all around us, since we live near a "wetland" where birds migrate to. Thank you once again for such a awesome photo my dear friend..Verena

Thank you!
How do I get that close? I don't. I shot this about 20 metrs distance. The birds don't allow you to come anywhere near them. I actually sat down in for about half an hour, before I got a change to shoot.

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being. - Hermes

Wonderful!
Did you already take them in the love period, with their incredible feathers on the head?
