My first experience with HDR. I must say it works terrific, but must be applied with modesty. What do you think, too much or OK?

Paul, ik heb je originele foto vergeleken met deze HDR inzending en de eerlijkheid gebiedt me te zeggen dat ik het originele exemplaar beter (meer contrastrijker) vind dan de HDR versie. Verder was het eigenlijk een zoekplaatje. Heb alleen aan SB- en BB-zijde van de Batavia wat marginale verschillen kunnen ontdekken, zoals aan BB-zijde wat aangebrachte witte panelen(?) en een lantaarn. Hoop niet dat je (in mij) bent teleurgesteld, maar ik kan er niets anders van van zeggen. Groet, Cornelius

I just need to know what HDR is? And I can't read Dutch..even tho its similar to German...I love this photo. WOW, the magical feeling such a ship gives out. Such gorgeous wood. Is this a real photo? or what? its so beautiful ...thank you so much my dear Paul...verena
