Paul, you brought many memories back to me as I looked at this photo. When I was in the Air Force, I was stationed at Karamürsel, on the Black Sea. I made it into Istanbul many times and enjoyed the sights you captured here. Many thanks!
What a wonderful capture. I love the way you have the minorets appearing to come out of the trees. I visited a mosque similar to this when I was in Cairo, but I didnt get anything as good as this capture. I wonder what those ropes are between the two on the left?
Great angle. The treetops are a perfect foreground and really frame photo. Colors really blend. I like the gold dome. Now I know where NASA got it's space shuttle design. Very nice post.
This is like a castle from a beautiful fairy tale we all have read/listened when we were kinds ... So we all seem to know and remember this view = deja vu of a kind !!!!
You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being.
