This is gorgeous. It looks like no one has been there in a long time. It reminds me of fresh fallen snow with no foot prints. The leading line and colours make this extra special, I hope I get this in the VB
WOW.. I would like to take a stroll through there, but I would end up camping out right in the middle because I wouldn't want to leave!
Thanks for sharring. + Faves!
This has the feel of the Roman main street with the triumphal arch at the end. Those trees didn't just happen to grow in straight lines like that, but they do may for a regal and elegant walkway.
You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being.
- Hermes
"The more we come in contact with animals, and observe their behaviour, the more we love them, for we see how great is their care for their young." - philosopher Immanuel Kant
It doesn't get much sweeter than this Paul. The shadows that are cast by the trees appear as arcs of color along this gorgeous path. there is such a softness and a sense of peace in this image. I can almost hear the leaves rustling. The other appealing part of this image is that this forest appears completely undisturbed....very pristine. Excellent job my friend, Again, many thanks for sharing this with me ;=)
My friend...I cannot find the words...to discribe this image...and if I could...they would not satisfy.....the colors that rest on the carpeted floor of leaves...together with the tones..hues..of those above... make this the most gorgeous of photos I have seen in awhile.....
Delightfully stunning in every sense... that your artistry...skills and talents combined... can possibly present to us....All elements are so complimentary....so flattering as to place us in an imaginary 'Heaven'....as you have stated....;o)
It is humbling to see such a presentation....one that only an outstanding photographer may allow us the priviledge to view......A point of interest as well...is that this image I believe....when I first took notice..... had a C-index of '100'...we don't see many of them....it will join my other favorites immediately....
Now then....
Paul...thank you for your visit to my little 'Water Wheel'...as you know your wonderful 'windmills' of Holland...have the same concepts in common....with my 'water wheel'....I find that very interesting.....don't you? I appreciate your visit very much...as I do enjoy seeing your most gorgeous purple avatar....I still remember when you first began using it...and everyone was in awe...and it is still just as beautifull...I think it was was about the time when you were teaching us/me how to use the camera...to produce the black ground...the little 'tricks of the trade'...and you were so pleased that I learned so quickly...I really felt like a 'big shot'....then....;o) Now...I find myself quite helpless in that quagmire named Photoshop! My image..... to illustrate what you were teaching is titled 'In the Limelight'....which is still in my gallery....your comments were fun..... you were quite excited...LOL! LOL.....;o)
I much appreciate all the comments I receive about my images, but please excuse me if I don't always reply. My interest in Caedes is exceeding my time available!
It's so strange, I live in ORegon where we are supposed to have tons of places like this, and maybe there are many, but I am realizing we have more Evergreens than deciduous trees, and therefore not near as much colour as you in Holland. So this is wonderful to get tons of colours of Autumn from you. I had not seen this one before either, so I love this one even more than the rest...oh my it would be hard to decide...hugs..V
What an amazing shot!! Absolutely love it, immediately into my favs and straight to the desktop, since us in Alaska already have snow!! Thanks for sharing such a wonderful post. Cheers - Pam!
