Good photography does involve quite a bit of sacrifice. These early morning shots are not easy to get, but a sunrise is worth a thousand words. Nice composition, and nice color in this shot Paul.
Sacrifice? Hmmm, no, I was just heading to work on my push bike. I happened to have a rucksack full of photo equipment with me, for I was going to shoot some tech photo's at my work for publishing in some boring magazine!
But when I saw this, it really made my day!

Ha that's great! You won't find any classic old style windmills around here that's for sure. Love how you presented it with the sun. Very nice work Paul :)

Lovely and even though they're just specks, you can see birds flying through all that golden light. Aren't you the lucky one..hope your "boring" work pics turned out as well as this one!!
"I never looked for it, gave it no name; yet I knew it always, when the gift of peace came. I stood quite still for the moment that it lasted...Then the light shifted slightly and the moment passed, leaving me...with the lasting echo of its presence.." Diana Gabaldon
You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being.

OMG I love this!!!!!! The colour is magnificent, and the silhouette is just fantastic !! You couldn't have gotten the sun in a better spot. I know that took some effort on your part, but it sure did pay off!! Painting this on canvas will be pure delight if you'll give me your ok...which I know you will. :)
Thank you my dear friend....Verena
