Oh Paul!! this photo reminds me of the times I used to go ice skating...I miss that so much. I can't do it anymore, due to having a damaged cartiledge in my knee. But I used to love it.
When I lived in North Dakota...I went skating, and the only sound I would hear is the hussshhhh of the snow falling on the snow, and the sound of the swishing of the blades on the ice.
It was so wonderful. ILOVE your photo. All the colourful lights..and people all around enjoying this time. I can almost hear them talking and laughing. I wish I were there being able to skate a bit with you...This is so lovely..verena
