Say Watson, what would Sherlock think when he read this review that "Mugsy" wrote about his lounge bar? "Yes well ! Umm ! Food was not good at all, basic cheap food that you get in a pub, not what you would expect, but it is always a matter of tase, I don't think there was much of that though ! there was 6 of us expecting to really wind down after a busy sight seeing day, I had to wait 15 minutes after everyone else for my food & I had to ask for it, service was very good when we eventually got some.. I wouldn't go again sorry ... you lost our votes."

Well, even if the service & food wasn't that good, I wouldn't go back either Paul.

It though is a fabulous capture of the front of the place with lovely flowers hanging and such a peaceful looking place outside

Seems as though they spend all their time on the outside instead of the kitchen. Lovely hanging baskets, but I dont think I will be trying it after that review x

Looks like a place I wouldn't mind frequenting. As a piece of Sherlock Holmes trivia, Watson first meets Holmes and becomes his roommate in the story, "A Study in Scarlet." Shortly after moving in together, a befuddled Watson compiles a list of Holmes's limits, which in and of itself, is quite humorous, considering how well the two come to know each other:

1. Knowledge of Literature. -- Nil. 2. Philosophy. -- Nil. 3. Astronomy. -- Nil. 4. Politics. -- Feeble. 5. Botany. -- Variable. Well up in belladonna, opium, and poisons generally. Knows nothing of practical gardening. 6. Geology. -- Practical, but limited. Tells at a glance different soils from each other. After walks has shown me splashes upon his trousers, and told me by their colour and consistence in what part of London he had received them. 7. Chemistry. -- Profound. 8. Anatomy. -- Accurate, but unsystematic. 9. Sensational Literature. -- Immense. He appears to know every detail of every horror perpetrated in the century. 10. Plays the violin well. 11. Is an expert singlestick player, boxer, and swordsman. 12. Has a good practical knowledge of British law. There. Now you're ready for a game of trivia should a question of Sherlock Holmes arise.

The first rule is: Remove the lens cap! The second rule is: Always take a litter bag in your car - if it gets full, you can just throw it out the window.

Interesting commentary Paul...the food and service might not have been so great...but wow, it's a beautiful place outside. I like how all the people look,so intent on their conversations.
That's what makes the whole photo look good, along with the gorgeous flowers. Nice stuff Paul. Verena

Every time I close the door on reality it comes in through the windows.
