Well, my dear Paul, I love this photo, it is filled with peace and solitude. SOmething we photographers all need and love. That's why we enjoy our own time so much. Then we get to share the results with others. SO we get a two fold thing from our own photos. I love the warmth of the sunlight in your photo, and those fantastic shadows. Natures colours are so wonderful. And I'm glad I was the first to see and comment on your wonderful photo. I am happy you posted it, and your avie is interesting too, very different then your other one. It's a nice change my friend. I hope you will take the time to post more often. You are a wonderful photography, and your gallery shows that....((hugs)) Verena
My goodness, wee have a winner here. I love that title you gave it. I have it up as my desktop this very minute. the lighting is divine. Perfect exposure. Love the lightness in the center rear. Draws my eye into the image. KEEP-PAH!
My wife just took a look at it and thought it appeared mystical, like a scene out of the Lords of the Rings... and she doesn't even like that movie! She sure likes your photo, though. So do I. As for a choice of seasons, I think I'll take your blend over the single ones. Thanks for sharing your inventiveness. I've always wanted to do this myself but can never remember where the heck I put the tripod the last time. :o)
A very clever idea, and you managed to merge the two pictures so well, which must have been quite difficult as I do not suppose you could mark the exact spot accurately. Technically excellent and also very beautiful.
Oh, I finally found my place in the world! My first thought was how much I like this and can't reason the whys. Sounds right. I love the tree and pathway in this magical place.
beautiful, creative, interesting, and also - creepy. I find it interesting how you chose to put summer on top, with bunch of leaves at the top and empty branches closer to the ground. Gives as sense of mystery. I think I'd like to see a similar work with the sides reversed. It might bring out a totally different atmosphere. Also, I think that the transition point is still too sharp; perhaps making it a zig-zag would work better. Oh, and the weird cloning "ripples" on the sides are a bit distracting: use a larger area to clone. Other than that, it's fantastic, I love the crispness.
I love the otherworldly feel! I wouldn't be one bit surprised to see a fairy floating in or elves skipping along the path. My imagination is running wild...lots of fun to be had looking at this! For that reason, it's a killer DT, 'cuz who doesn't need a little fun at work?
