What a photo Paul!!!!! Absolutely gorgeous. The cloud surrounding that Pelican is outstanding!! I gasped when I first saw this, gasped in awe of your photography!! It's so perfect.
The dark and the light inside the clouds is so dramatic. And seeing the tips of his wings...well, it's breathtaking. Thank you so much dear Paul...thank you. This is on my desktop for today and tomorrow. So I can relish in your photo...........Verena

Another beautiful and "tack sharp" composition, Paul. It looks perfect on my screens -- all 4 of them. I'm always amazed by the... well... majesty of some of your shots, for lack of a better word. That background of dynamic cloud formations complements the subject so well. If he had a bomb bay door on his chest I'd swear he was a feathery-camouflaged B-52 bomber.

Magician Paul at it again! While I can't identify anything technical to support my thought it does feel like a composite but it's one hell of a job. The shot to capture the pelican is superb.
