Saw that Avatar film and wondered what it would like like in the Pandorian seas... A compilation of two shots, a fish and and an Aquarium background. All fish are clones, but which is the original fish? P.s. thanks for all your great responses! The original fish is the one in the middle!

Beautiful post work Paul! Is the one in the center the original? The blue/yellow one?

I'm going to guess the one with the dark blue tail on the right... looks like the one most likely to occur naturally to me...

Ohhhhh Paul, this is so magical!! Those colours are mezmerizing.
And that camera of yours sure does fantastic things, but me thinx the photographer is the master here! This will look so awesome on the desktop. I also think the 'real' fish is the one with the bright 'bloo' tail on the right. Very lovely. Verena

Jen, it's because the membership is made up of about 25% artists and photographers, while the remaining 75% have no artistic maturity. They obviously race through the voting so they can drop their next snapshot on us. It wasn't always this way. Just look at images that were submitted 4 or 5 years ago and you'll see a marked difference in voting. Images that used to get a 75 are now lucky to get above 50. Many voters have no idea of the time Paul has spent masking out this fish (perfectly, I might add) and recreating the ten copies, with adjusted color values for each one, positioning each so the overlaps are subtle but believable. He's done a heckuva lot more than just present a photo... this is a piece of art, reminiscent of Andy Warhol's pop art of the 70's. 5 years ago this one would have been well into the 80s. Personally, I wish the c-index didn't exist, or that there was something better reflective of our craft on this site, because it does get depressing to see low numbers on an image you know is good, but I also realize that Caedes has many people to try to please, and there is no easy solution to the problem. So in the meantime, it falls to those of us who have the desire to improve what we do and to keep learning, to be honest with each other about our work, and to vote responsibly, giving the images the proper votes they deserve. We will never be able to turn this problem around, only learn to deal with it, by giving comments that actually mean something, have some meat to them. Sorry to use your submission as a podium, Paul, but when your work, some of the best this site has, gets a moderate score, then there's something that needs to be said. An excellent submission, again.
