I love the textures, colour and light in this capture. Very well composed too with the tree to the left and tall imposing rocks in the background. Well done!

There behold life’s fragrant tree
Blooming by the river;
’Neath its shade my walk shall be
Ever and forever.

Looks like a swell place to visit and you had some fine weather there. A very natural looking capture. Great catch.

It's obvious that this river causes a certain amount of erosion when you consider how muddy the water is. looks like that tree is going to heel over one of these days, probably during a flash flood. When that happens, a person standing where you did will have a very different composition in front of them. Another great SW USA shot. I know you're a successful engineer but have you ever considered creating travel books on the side? I don't know about other folks but your photos make me want to visit these places.
