Spakenburg lies south of the IJsselmeer in the municipality Bunschoten, Utrecht, Netherlands. It is one of the few places left in the Netherlands where some women still wear local traditional clothes.
Hey there Mister Madman, wat'cha know that I don't know Tell me some crazy stories, let me know who runs this show Glassy-eyed and laughing, he turns and walks away Tell me what made you that way
This is amazing and so busy looking with lots for the eyes to feast upon it my kind if heaven can hang around these areas for hours just looking and listening .It sure is one busy looking boat harbour and you capture this scene superbly with stunning natural colours and detail.
Nice to see your new image and it looks like a very busy place as work proceeds to get everything shipshape - beautiful photography - Excellent imagery as always Paul!!!
Now this is you again, Paul, at your very best. Reminds me your series of interior of one ancient vessel. It seems like yesterday.:) I hope to see more of you again on Caedes, FB, Skype or wherever you prefer.:) Hugs from your faithful fans SAM & SAAB
What a nice image this is, I really enjoyed just sitting here, and studying it for a bit, very nice clear, and well composed image. Nice to see you on Caedes, I hope there is more. :) tigs=^..^=
Good to see a post from you after so long Paul (o: there's plenty for eye to see here. This traditional scene is most appealing compared to the shallow triumphs of the 21st century, well done.
A busy shipyard with vintage fishing boats...but odd that there are no fishing nets visible. Love the wood siding panels and floor planks on the boats. There is so much detail in this well-composed image!
Truly impressive capture. All the details, color, composition and the scene itself have given you a tremendous photo. Great choice for a shot, and performed with excellence.
