The Doge's Palace (Italian: Palazzo Ducale) is a palace built in Venetian Gothic style, and one of the main landmarks of the city of Venice in northern Italy. The palace was the residence of the Doge of Venice, the supreme authority of the former Republic of Venice, opening as a museum in 1923.

The sepia and angle are perfect for the subject matter...I also like the wood work...fascinating to see these places...well done.

I like the sepia treatment, giving the photo a look of antiquity, repetitive lines in a photo have always been a favorite of mine, and that light wash on the far left adds so much more depth than the capture itself. Outstanding.
