Really nice shot, Paul.

I am particularly attracted to the co-stars of your image here.. that of the two silhouetted trees.

Well-composed, and you tick all of the boxes on the notes of technical considerations (exposure, et al) as well.

And..

Thanks for sharing this one with us.

+favs for me.

The tree silhouettes and the almost iridescent light on the horizon make for a dramatic image. Fav for me.

(p.s. I've downloaded most of your gallery in previous years, and so it is nice to finally "meet" you!)

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust

This a glorious piece of work. The diagonal trees reaching across the image give so much character and nuance to the mood and sense of place. A view like that does indeed make you glad to be alive. Thank you for sharing it.

Pretty much everybody and their dog takes sunset photos but, looking at this one, apparently only one guy really knows how to do it--some "Paul", somewhere guy in Holland. It's welcome to stay on my desktop a looooong, long time.
