Yeah, I have been holding out on you all. I have been too busy with keeping the site in order to get out with my camera, so I went through my photo archives and pulled this one to post. Enjoy!

1 second exposure, F-stop f/2.8, ISO 200.

Had this in VB and gave it a 10....and well deserved! You have a real "striking" talent....and I have no clue how you manage to get these shots....but do be careful....and I am VERY impressed with this!

Looking again...I even see a face.....and I know it's not a manip...but hey....I see it....maybe it was those hurricanes I drank last night....

very nice .. makes you wonder what it struck .. a golfer in the middle of the atlantic?

is that Ozone in the air ..

or do I smell a Capturing Lightning with a Digital Camera Tutorial

I lived in Colorado for 5 years .. they had the same afternoon thundershowers that Florida seems to have .. (California has NONE) ... and I failed to capture lightning in any satisfactory manner

Beautifully dramatic… love the way it lights up the clouds… including the one in front of it which adds so much to this image. Please pardon me, I have to go hide under the covers… the thunder will be here any moment now…

I have tried for 2 summers to get lightning like that, and all I have gotten is a tiny little lightning bolt. Your lucky, cuz that is one of the most difficult things I have ever tried to capture with a camera. I have wasted a lot of money on film, thats why I need a digital.=) great photo dear!
