From a recent trip to the statue and Ellis Island. I haven't seen any photos of the statue taken from this angle. It was overcast and it rained pretty much the whole time we were there, it was a challenge to take pictures without getting raindrops on the lens.

Tom - I like the angle you chose for this photo. Imagine how this would look on a clear, blue-sky day! Thad

Faved! Despite a subject of many photographs, you still managed to make this one "fresh".

I like the angle too ... going on two trips last year to NYC & then visiting Statue of Liberty on one trip, I never thought of getting a shot of it from this viewpoint. I got lots of this historical landmark & am surely enjoying this capture even more.

I like the added effect ... brings out the statue's 3D appearance. Very well done Tom & thanks for sharing.

I like this angle very much...and the fact that she is not centered up in the shot adds interest to the shot! Very well done

I like the poster-edge filter you applied to it. It's a good one to use to accentuate lines and is does it very well here, enhancing the sculpture's features and construction. Nice job and yes, an angle you don't often see. I enjoy looking at the world in unusual ways. Thanks for submitting her.

The first rule is: Remove the lens cap! The second rule is: Always take a litter bag in your car - if it gets full, you can just throw it out the window.

The sky is slightly grainy, but I like it. It adds to the sense of the pic. The feel.

Very nicely done. She's fading a bit. Fading. Our pride for our country is being stripped away by globalism and the like. Our history is being lost, our children are forgetting. Sadness.
