This picture was a bit fuzzy, but I liked the colors. To salvage it, I used GIMP to render this as an oil painting. The result gives the illusion of being a detailed painting, and any fuzziness is lost in the brush strokes.

the color combination is superb. yes, the image is still fuzzy and i did not have the impression of oil-painting. may be water-color - like manipulations will be useful.

~ The colors are super...but it still seems stuck between a fuzzy photo and a manip, but still not either one. I just tried 'Virtual Painter 4' on it with an oil painting manip and it was lovely! Maybe like stated above, just try other painting manips on it. It is worth it!
