Fireworks are a big deal in my area. You can go to the top of a rise and surround by flashes of beauty for hours on the 4th of July.

Fireworks are a big deal everywhere, Jeff. Around here where we've been in a severe drought for well over two years and have had no precipitation since March, the fireworks displays are shot from a pier over the ocean.

Lovely shot. No critique from me today, but I'll make sure I'm in a really rotten mood tomorrow.
