I was asked about the Niobrara River. It is rated as one of the top 10 scenic rivers in the United States to canoe or kayak. It is an easy river, so you have lots of time for taking pictures. This is a picture from my camping and canoeing trip last weekend.

I hope you will continue, dear friend, to report from your weekend trip. For instance I would die to see what is further behind the bend. And if there is any bend to the left because I am not that certain...
