This was a view from my hotel room in Kuta on Bali. What fascinated me was how every "empty lot" wasn't empty. You can walk down an urban street and right between two buildings is a rice field or a few cows grazing. The hotel is built on the edge of a large marsh. You can see the buildings of the city at top. The torn up area is a river that is being dredged for flood control. The white marsh birds love the cows, I assume feeding on the flies. Hard to believe this is besides one of the most heavily traveled streets in the city.

I wish I was a Glow Worm, a Glow Worm's never glum, 'cause how can you be grumpy, when the sun shines out your bum?

That's prime real estate in Kuta! I've been to Bali numerous times and I continue to find beauty all around.

Great capture, Jeff. It is so interesting to see the differences in cultures from country to country.
