Perfect title for this excellent capture. Your walks must be very satisfying to be able to view scenes such as this. Your photography skills, fortunately for us, bring us much to admire.

No act of kindness, no matter how small, is ever wasted.
And the walk definitely paid dividends. In most of the photos of herons I see their feet are hidden by water or rushes; here you're giving us the total bird (okay... that didn't come out right:o).
