I don't buy fireworks. Can't see the need to blow up my money. But I sure enjoy watching the neighbors blow things up. Omaha is crazy about fireworks and we get a 360 degree view of all sorts of beauty for about 2 hours.
Progress equals a trashed planet since mankind is too busy altering it. BTW find the classic definition of Caedes here. Enjoy yourself today (o: because you don't know what tomorrow may bring.
We didn't have any. It's so dry up here in the Dakotas we've had a fire ban for about 6 weeks so no fireworks this year (except for those my out-of-control idiot neighbor shot off). When I saw this as a thumbnail I thought you must have started getting into computer illustration, the lines were so perfect, but enlargement showed me otherwise. Most folks capture singles rising upwards or a collection of bursts. This is impressive with all the various colors, the bursts, and that big collections of streams all in one shot.
If you've ever wanted to make a difference but found it hard to believe that one person could... check out the Kiva Team Caedes discussion thread and discover that anything is possible.
Amazing how you caught them all streaming upward together. Our neighborhood looked like a war zone on Tuesday with smoke hanging in air and firecrackers bursting everywhere. (rhymed! lol) My son and I went for a walk at 10pm, and it was something else. Anyway, this is a terrific image!
