I'm not certains these are orchids, but they do look like them in shape. Decided to use this for the "Breaking the Rules" contest. Technically the cropping is wrong and the weight of the image is off-center. The rule of 3 is not being followed, etc.

It is a beautiful shot of whatever they are. Such a nice rich blue/purple color. Nice capture.
