We were walking in the woods at Indian Cave State Park and suddenly spotted an old windmill. Perhaps it was left over from a farmhouse that was removed when the park was formed, or perhaps it was used for a while to supply water to the campsites in the area. Who knows? But I have a picture of it.

I think you were probably right the first time, Jeff, about a farmstead. Here, anyway, campsites that provide water provide potable, and I'm guessing this would be artesian, more for livestock than us. It's nice how you've positioned it rising up out of the woods into a clear spot between trees. Nice.
