I wish I was a Glow Worm, a Glow Worm's never glum, 'cause how can you be grumpy, when the sun shines out your bum?

"Orange Buttons"...? Hmmmm... it must be a fungi of some kind but, searching for orange fungi, in North Carolina or anywhere, for that matter, all I can find is orange slime fungi and orange jelly fungi. I do like orange marmalade on my toast but I draw the line at fungi. The orange jelly fungi does look disturbingly tasty, though, and this stuff you've presented to us, Jeff, looks a bit like candy, but, again, I will not bite.

I do like your shot, though. The texture of the old wood and the bright green sprig of leaves counters nicely with the buttons.

It looks like slime mold. Nature is marvelous.

Gorgeous colors in this photograph, Jeff!

The reason why the sun sets in the evening is because it wants to see the sunrise in the morning. I rise in the morning because I want to see them both. RvdB
