One hike follows Rock Creek, sometimes very literally along its banks. This is another view that shows why it is aptly named.

Lisa said it perfectly. To me it's like another world, contained within that zigzag opening in the trees, all the way down to the water where the light strikes one rocky shore while making a near-silhouette of another. Another trail to add to my wish list.
