After a slow-paced, heart-racing climb up the other side of the canyon, there is a small side trail that takes you to the Circle-Bar Arch. You can see where the name comes from. It is actually a double arch with the lower one in front of the taller one.

A magical picture Jeff could go into a storybook ....I am waiting to see a dragon pop its head around the corner.

The reason why the sun sets in the evening is because it wants to see the sunrise in the morning. I rise in the morning because I want to see them both. RvdB

Holy Macinoly! What a formation to walk under and through. I have an ash tree near the back of my house (all the others were Elms that died from Dutch) that would have been this slanted, starving for sunlight like this one, because it tried to grow up from under the branches of a large American Elm. When the elm died I bolted hooks into its remaining stump and tied back the ash to induce it back a little. It worked... a little. The slant on this one adds so much to the unique nature of this trail. Pay no attention to the limited number of comments you're getting on these, Jeff. Those who are commenting are doing so out of pure enjoyment of the series.
